Ben and Kate, who live in Sale, were setting up a new business. They had seen our website and thought they would take the offer of a “free initial meeting without any obligations.”
The meeting was held at our office in Sale. Ben and Kate were unsure as to how to proceed with the setup of their business, which form to adopt for trading and how to record their transactions. At our meeting we discussed all the various options. It soon became evident that a Limited Company would suit them best, using Xero cloud accounting for administrating the business. Ben and Kate opted to appoint Pickard & Co as their accountants.
Over the next few weeks the Xero software with ‘Receipt Bank’ was implemented, a payroll, contracts, marketing strategy and website. The business was soon operational. Working together as a team avoided many of the problems new businesses may experience.
